Meeting people where they are.
Harmonious Hearts is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to raise awareness of the dangers of drug and opioid abuse throughout Rockland County. We start with kids and youth, meeting them with honest information and the real tools to stay safe.
We put free Narcan (naloxone), fentanyl test strips, and xylazine test strips directly into the hands of the people who need them, along with the training to use them with confidence. No cost. No judgment. No questions asked.
Nobody should face this alone — and with the right tools, one bad moment doesn't have to become a tragedy.

Rachel Singer, PA-C
A Physician Assistant whose career has moved from the intensity of cardiothoracic surgery and urgent care into the emerging field of integrative mental health. She now practices at a ketamine infusion clinic, guiding patients through psychedelic-assisted therapy for depression, anxiety, and trauma. Her approach pairs the discipline of high-acuity medicine with a trauma-aware lens, meeting patients at the intersection of established clinical practice and next-generation treatment. Mental health is where her passion now lives: she believes healing from depression, anxiety, and trauma deserves the same rigor, compassion, and innovation as any other area of medicine, and she's committed to helping more people access the emerging treatments that can offer real relief.
Shimon Deutsch, RN
Shimon Deutsch has spent more than 15 years on the front lines of emergency care. His career began in 2009 as a volunteer EMT with Ramapo Valley Ambulance Corps. Within a few years he was a paramedic with Rockland Mobile Care, and later joined Faist EMS. Most recently, he earned his nursing degree from Rockland Community College and became a Registered Nurse (RN). Along the way, he saw firsthand how quickly an overdose can turn a family’s life upside down, and how much the right response in those first minutes can matter.
Today, as Program Director, Shimon brings that frontline experience to Harmonious Hearts, helping guide our Narcan distribution and training programs across Rockland County. His mission is personal: to stop drugs and opioids from taking lives in the community he calls home.
Seema Roc
Holds a degree in Finance and has built a diverse professional career across international business, including roles with Cambridge University Press, Pentax Medical, and Sandvik Coromant, developing strong analytical, operational, and cross-functional skills across British, Japanese, and Swedish company cultures. Also worked with Congressman Mike Lawler, both in the New York State Assembly and now in Congress. Alongside this, Seema is a longtime Rockland County community leader: a former board member of Rockland Independent Living (now Bridges), PTA Secretary at Suffern High School, an appointee to the Suffern Village Recreation Board, and a rape crisis counselor with Safety and Change. She also hosts a Haitian American radio show, bringing community voices and culture to a wider audience.
